1 Account Eligibility & Verification
All renters must be at least 21 years of age, hold an active and non-expired government-issued driver's license, and pass identity verification (KYC). Hosts must hold valid vehicle registration, personal ownership or authorized leasing rights, and up-to-date roadworthiness certificates.
2 Booking, Escrow Payments & Security Deposits
Upon trip confirmation, all rental charges and security deposits are held in a secure escrow facility. Renter funds are not transferred to the host until the vehicle handover is executed. Security deposit authorizations are released within 24 to 48 hours after return inspection, provided no damage or overage claims are filed.
3 Digital Handover & Return Checklists
Both hosts and renters are required to perform a digital vehicle inspection checklist via the FleetHub app at both pickup and return. This includes taking clear timestamped photos of all exterior panels, odometer mileage, and fuel levels. Failure to document conditions may invalidate damage claims.
4 Cancellations, Modifications & Refunds
Renters can cancel reservations free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time for a 100% refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are subject to standard late cancellation fees. Host cancellations without valid emergency grounds result in host penalties and automated guest re-accommodation.
5 Prohibited Uses & Safety Guidelines
Vehicles must never be used for off-road driving, unauthorized racing, commercial passenger ride-hailing (without explicit host written consent), driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, smoking or vaping inside the cabin, or subleasing to third parties.
6 Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
In the event of an unresolvable dispute between host and renter regarding fuel, cleaning, or minor damage, FleetHub acts as an impartial mediator evaluating digital checklist logs, in-app chat transcripts, and telemetry.
